FOM Scholars with US Ambassador Minton
Since 2006 the program has grown significantly to include several varieties of scholarships that both males and females are eligible to apply for. The program requires approximately $10,000 per year which comes from a combination of funding sources, including Khan Bank, families, RPCV groups, FOM members, and individual donors. Scholarships for 2011-2012 The 2011-2012 Friends of Mongolia Scholarship Applications are now available. The application deadline is July 1st. One may either mail the application to our P.O. Box (Friends of Mongolia, P.O. Box 2790, Central Post Office, Ulaanbaatar 13) or bring it by Zorig Foundation. The Scholarship Selection Committee was comprised of D. Enkhbaatar (Oyu Tolgoi), Gerelmaa (Zorig Foundation), Ch. Munkhjargal (Peace Corps Mongolia), and D. Sayamaa (EARC, Education Advising and Resource Center). Khan Bank supported 6 students, the
FOM Scholarship supported 5 students, the Zadrozny Family supported 1 student
